Malina Enlund - Trust and Safety Manager APAC, Facebook Inc.
In the role of Trust and Safety Manager, Malina is responsible for the development and implementation of safety policies and programs across the platform in SE Asia. Malina works with Government and Non-Government partners in the region on issues of child online safety, women's safety, human trafficking and online well-being (including bullying prevention and suicide prevention).
Prior to joining Facebook, Malina spent 13 years working in the field of anti-trafficking and child exploitation in the region. Previously she was the Global Head of Trafficking for ECPAT International, overseeing the Anti-Trafficking program for the global network currently operating in 108 countries worldwide. Malina also led the regional operations of A21 and was one of the founding members of the Child Advocacy Center in Pattaya, Thailand. The center was created in partnership with the FBI and HSI to support the prosecution of offenders and provide aftercare services and legal support for survivors of exploitation and abuse. Malina holds a degree in International Development from the University of Calgary and a Master’s Degree in Advanced Child Protection from the University of Kent.
